California visitors — “Do not sell” and your banner
For visitors covered by California privacy rules (CCPA / CPRA), people must be able to opt out of certain uses of their data, often described as “Do not sell or share my personal information” (wording may vary).
What the product is meant to support (conceptually)
- California visitors see a way to opt out.
- That choice can be saved and applied on later visits where the product supports it.
- Supported integrations (for example Google-related setups) can receive updated signals so reporting stays within the rules.
Your responsibilities
You still need accurate privacy notices and internal processes that match your business. The banner helps visitors exercise their choice in a consistent way; it does not replace legal advice or a full compliance program.
