Cookie Observer — what it does and when it runs

Cookie Observer looks at how cookies and storage behave on your real site after the banner is live — it is not a one-time “scan before you install” report.

When it runs

• After the banner is installed and the site is getting traffic.
• It reflects what happens in real browsing, including before and after visitors make a consent choice (as offered on plans that include the feature).

Why that matters

A scan taken before go-live can miss how tags behave in production. Observing live traffic gives a more realistic picture of what actually fires.

No pre-install scan

The product does not replace your live banner with a scan-only mode before installation; insight is tied to the banner running on the site (on eligible plans).
