How does consent connect to analytics, ads, and other tools?

A consent product’s job is to remember the visitor’s choice and tell your other tools what they are allowed to do.

Simple picture

  1. Someone lands on your site.
  2. They accept, decline, or pick detailed options.
  3. That choice is passed to supported integrations.
  4. Each tool then behaves in line with that choice — for example full analytics after “yes,” or a restricted mode when someone says “no.”

For supported setups, updates can happen automatically when consent changes, so you do not have to wire every tool by hand for the basics.

Why it matters

  • You reduce the risk of firing trackers before you are allowed to.
  • Reporting stays as useful as the law and the platform allow for people who opt out.

Technical wiring (exact tags, load order, vendor lists) lives in the developer documentation and integrations overview. This article is only the idea.
